Thyroid Nodules



The thyroid gland is a butterflyshaped structure located in the front of your neck just below the voicebox. It produces two thyroid hormones—triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). T3 and T4 help regulate your metabolism—how your body uses and stores energy.
